Well, October has come and went just like the wind. Tracy and Mo got the bus fixed and we sure did miss
it when it was down, it's just so much easier traveling on the bus then in cars. I know we are probably just a tad bit spoiled.
But really, we save money when we have the bus, we do not have to eat out breakfast or other meals, we can just eat right
on the bus unless we get a great offer like we did when we were up at Pendleton, In. We had the privilege of singing for Pastor
Danny Tompkins at his church Living Word. We had such a great time of fellowship with him and his lovely wife. If you noticed
the pictures, we used his lovely entry way for our photo shoot. I got some really good pictures and some really funny pictures.
If you have not checked them out, check them out you will get a good laugh. Pastor Danny and his wife are pictured with Mo
and Neva and he wanted a goofy picture too. He treated us to a lovely lunch and good fellowship and plenty of laughs.
We trust you all had a great Thanksgiving. We got to spend some time with Tracy's
brother and sister-in-law from Alabama and their two girls. Mo and Neva spent time with Neva's mother and Neva's sister, Sharon
and Jeri, Sharon's husband. We all ate way too much. Now we are looking forward to CHRISTmas. Not so much the shopping and
spending money, but what CHRISTmas means and represents. You know it has become so commercialized that we sometimes forget
the meaning of the season. So in the hussle and bussle of the shopping season, just remember to stop and give thanks to the
one who was born and died for us and why we celebrate CHRISTmas.
Well
now for the updates, like I said the bus is up and working and is so wonderful. Tracy and Mo really worked hard and diligently
to get it finished before deer season opened. So since I brought up deer season, I will start with Tracy this time. Tracy
went hunting with bow and got a button buck on the last day of bow, he was beginning to think he wasn't going to get
any thing with his bow, which is very unusual for him. Then Saturday was the opening day for gun. Tracy and his youngest
son, Cameron, went hunting, Cam came home with an 8 point. Pictures of the deer are on the gallery. Tracy and Cam hunted
very diligently all week. One night, Tracy and Cam both came home with a deer. Tracy a nice size doe and Cam a button buck.
Tracy and Cam went another day and Tracy finally was patient and got a good size deer, 9 point buck, that thing was huge.
So needless to say with Mo being a retired meat cutter, we took a Saturday and processed all 5 deer. We were all very
tired, but our freezer is now full again.
Mo and Neva have been busy taking care
of the twins and Miss lily. Eli, Neva says is becoming quit the computer genius and Aj is a sports fanatic like his father.
Little miss Lily just laughs at everything. Neva's mother got to go to her house for Thanksgiving and tolerated the day really
well. They had a house full with most of the kids coming home and enjoying the day together.
Nate just continues working and studying for his CDL. My nephew Zach has moved in with Nate and they
are sharing expenses.
Well, I guess, that catches you all up on everything. We hope you all
have a blessed, wonderful CHRISTmas and remember to stop and give thanks to the LORD for the season.
If you are out and around the area that we are going to be come and join us, we would love to see
you.
Until next month,
God Bless
Dawn
